Your Account page

See how you sign in, and sign out everywhere.

The Account page shows the basics of your Coral Hub account and has two actions: signing out of every browser, and closing your account. It is read-only otherwise. Open it at https://app.coralhub.dev/account while signed in. If you are signed out, the page shows a link to sign in first.

What the page shows

Section What you see
Profile The email address you sign in with, and the date your account was created.
Sign-in methods A list of the ways you can sign in to this account: Email link (always listed, because your account is tied to your verified email address), and GitHub or Google if you have used them (see Signing in with Google). Linked methods show an Added date when one is available. If Google sign-in is offered and this account has no Google method yet, a Link Google button lets you add it after email confirmation. There is no control here to remove a sign-in method.
Plan Closed beta.
Team Shown only if you belong to a team: its name, your role and its status. If you are not in a team, this section does not appear.
Sessions The Sign out everywhere button (below).
Close account Closing your account, with an email confirmation (see Closing your account).

The page never shows provider ids or other details of your GitHub or Google account, only the name of the method.

When Link Google is shown, select it from your Account page. You must have signed in recently with an email link or Google; GitHub sign-in does not count for this step. If asked, use Sign out and sign in again, then return to your Account page.

Choose the Google account in the same browser session where you started. Coral Hub emails a confirmation link to that Google account's address. Open it while signed in to the Coral Hub account you are linking, then use the confirmation button. Your existing account address receives notices when linking starts and finishes.

The Google address may differ from your Coral Hub account address, provided neither the Google identity nor that address belongs to another Coral Hub account. Linking adds a sign-in method; it does not merge accounts or change your account's email address. If linking fails, start again from your Account page. See the Google sign-in guide.

Sign out everywhere

Select Sign out everywhere to end every browser session your account has on Coral Hub: on this browser and on every other browser and device. Your current browser is signed out too, and you are taken to the sign-in page. To use Coral Hub again, sign in with any of your methods.

Your machines stay connected

Signing out everywhere only ends browser sessions. The machines you have connected to the hub are not disconnected and are not revoked. To disconnect a machine, revoke it from the Servers page.

If the button does not work, the page says “We could not sign you out everywhere”. Reload the page and try again.

Closing your account

You can close your own account from the Account page. Closing signs you out everywhere, disconnects and revokes every machine you have enrolled, and stops anyone signing in to the account. You cannot undo it from the Account page.

How to close it

1
Sign in recently: You must have signed in within the last 15 minutes with an email link or Google. Signing in with GitHub does not count for this step. If you need to sign in again, the Close account section shows a Sign out and sign in again button. It signs you out of this browser and takes you to the sign-in page; sign in with an email link or Google and you come back to the Account page.
2
Type your email address: In the Close account section, type the email address of your account and select Email me a confirmation link. Nothing is closed yet.
3
Open the link: We email a link to that address. Open it in the same browser within 15 minutes, and select Close and disable my account. The link works once. A newer link replaces an older one.

If the link does not work (it expired, was already used, or was opened in a different browser), open your Account page in the browser you are signed in with and ask for a new one. If you did not ask to close your account, do nothing: the link stops working by itself and your account is untouched.

What happens when you close it

What does not happen yet

Erasure of its data will follow when our erasure job ships; until then, closing an account does not erase its data. See Coral Hub Privacy for what the hub stores.

If you own a team

If you are the owner of a team, closing your account is refused today, and the page tells you so.

Privacy

See Coral Hub Privacy for what the hub stores about your account and what closing it does.
